Over the weekend, I cast on a pair of fingerless mitts. It's the second time I've knit this pattern which is free on Ravelry. I am still insecure about my cables so a simple pattern showcasing my handspun seemed like the perfect project. I only have a couple of stitches to worry about and the rest is knitting.
I also started to spin some amazing fiber from my friend Emily at Fiber Addiction. It's 80/10/10 SW Merino/Cashmere/Nylon and absolutely delicious to spin.
I really need to get my loom(s) warped. A friend fixed the dropped stitches on my KAL Cowl so I hope to pick up speed getting it finished before the end of the month. Apparently, I dropped more rows than I thought. Yikes! More rows were dropped than I thought and they went into the lace so I'm glad that I put it down and let a lace knitter fix. I even learned a bit. Hopefully I will have progress to show next week. Now, share your adventures in Fiber Arts!
